Mail Server : Enable The Trash Folder In WebMail

As you may have noticed if you have logged into WebMail ( http://webmail.dextralog.com.au ) there are a few folders on the left hand side including "Inbox", "Drafts", "Sent" and "Trash". By default, the Trash folder is not enabled, so any emails that you delete in WebMail will disappear for good. This guide will show you how to enable the Trash folder so that when you delete an email it is stored in this folder.

1) Login To Webmail - http://webmail.dextralog.com.au

Login with the username as your FULL email address (including the @dextralog.com.au or relevant domain name) and your email password.

2) Click on the "Settings" button up the top.

You will be taken to a new page with several options on it.

3) Put a tick in "Move deleted messages to trash"

Halfway down the page, under the Messages heading is a tickbox next to the phrase "Move deleted messages to trash". Put a tick in this box and press the "Save Changes" button down the bottom of the page.

Now any emails that you delete will be moved to the "Trash" folder rather than perminantly deleted.
